Our Mission

Triathlon Sport Volunteering (TSV) is Europe's first cross-border volunteer pipeline for triathlon, built by five national federations and backed by Erasmus+. We exist because the sport runs on the people behind the cones, the radios and the finish lines.

Our mission is to make volunteering at triathlon events accessible, recognised and rewarding — wherever you live in Europe. We do that with free online training, a portable digital credential, and an event calendar that crosses borders.

We believe a fairer, healthier sports system starts with the people who show up. By investing in volunteers we strengthen local clubs, raise event quality, and open new pathways for anyone curious about triathlon — no experience required.

TSV is delivered by the federations of Portugal, Spain, France, Czech Republic and Morocco, with World Triathlon as the global anchor. The platform is a shell today, but the people, the federations and the events are very real.

Resources

Everything you need before, during and after your shift lives here. We are building out the resource library alongside the 2026 season — expect handbooks, training modules, brand assets and event-day checklists in the coming weeks.

Volunteer handbook, role descriptions and safety guidelines are in final review with the consortium. Once approved we will publish them in all six TSV languages so you can prepare in the language you are most comfortable with.

Training materials cover health & safety, race-day logistics, athlete support, and discipline-specific modules. They will be free, self-paced, and recognised across the EU thanks to the Erasmus+ micro-credential framework.

If you are a federation, an event organiser or a partner looking to plug TSV into your own programme, this is also where toolkits and reusable assets will land. Reach out via the Contacts page if you need something before it is published.
